28 townhomes approved at 340 N. Main.
Clawson’s Planning Commission approved a 28-unit attached-townhome development at 340 N. Main. The plan is for the former church parking-lot site and includes six buildings: 24 two-bedroom homes and four three-bedroom homes.
The approval remains subject to final engineering, fire and hydrant review, stormwater review, screening, snow-removal planning, trash details and parcel combination. Drainage was a central topic during the meeting; the plan includes underground stormwater storage, with final design still subject to engineering review.
It is a meaningful addition to Clawson’s housing pipeline along N. Main. The project is approved, but it is not yet under construction.
